Hanoar Hatzioni Hanoar Hatzioni is a World – Wide Jewish Zionist Youth Movement. Our main focuses are Zionism, Israel, Judaism and Tzofiut (scouting). Our ultimate aim is Chalutzik Aliyah (emigration to Israel, pioneering some aspect of Israeli society). Through informal education and dugma ishit (leadership by example), we aim to teach the centrality of Israel , Tzofiut, Judaism and social awareness. By this our chanichim (participants) become useful, independent, moral members of society. They develop a love of and dedication to Israel , Judaism and the Jewish people through the practice of traditions in an envirionment of religious pluralism. All of this fosters a positive Jewish identity which is of paramount importance. We work with Jewish youth aged 7-25. We support their communities and other Jewish/Zionist organisations in Great Britain. We aid the underprivileged and reach out to the unaffiliated. |
